Vodafone Passport with Call+ Promotion

1. What is Call+?

Call+ allows Customers subscribing to the New Unlimited+ Plans and Postpaid+ Plans to make calls back to Qatar and anywhere in world while roaming only through the My Vodafone App (MVA) and cannot be accessed independently.
Unlimited +plans will benefit from the Call+ service free of charge. Postpaid + plans customers can benefit from this service by subscribing to the Call+ addon for 100 QR per month. Customers must use the MVA to activate and utilize the Call+ feature for calls while roaming. Call+ uses your data connection and the minutes for Call+ are included in your plan's allowance (New Unlimited+ Plan).
The service is accessible through the My Vodafone App (MVA) only. On reaching the FUP Customer will not be able to make a call. This service is not accessible in Qatar, it’s accessible while roaming only. Customers must be connected to the internet (either through roaming data or Wi-Fi) to use Call+. If a customer has consumed all roaming data and is not connected to Wi-Fi, they will not be able to use Call+, even if they still have the allocated minutes. If there’s VPN connection detected, Call+ will not work and should be disabled.

Vodafone Passport with Call+ is a promotional roaming offer that gives customers unlimited Call+ minutes while roaming in all Vodafone Passport countries at no additional cost during the promotional period.

The promotion is valid from 20 May 2026 until 20 August 2026.

6. How can customers receive the Call+ benefit?

Customers will automatically receive the Call+ benefit when activating an eligible Vodafone Passport during the promotional period.

7. Is there any additional charge for Call+?

No, the Call+ benefit is included at no additional cost during the promotional period.

8. Are Call+ minutes separate from roaming minutes?

Yes, Call+ minutes are separate from the existing roaming minutes included in Vodafone Passport.

9. How can customers use Call+?

Customers can access and use Call+ through the My Vodafone App while roaming.

10. Can customers use Call+ in all Vodafone Passport countries?

11. Does Call+ consume roaming data?

Yes, Call+ uses internet connectivity and may consume roaming data during usage.

12. Is there a Fair Usage Policy for the promotion?

  • Weekly Passport with Call+ includes 250 Call+ minutes Fair Usage Policy.
  • Monthly Passport with Call+ includes 1000 Call+ minutes Fair Usage Policy.


13. What happens once the customer reaches the Fair Usage Policy limit?

Customers will no longer be able to use Call+ until they activate another eligible Vodafone Passport.

14. Can Call+ allowances be accumulated?

No, Call+ allowances cannot be accumulated across multiple Passport activations.

15. Do customers need to activate Call+ separately?

No, Call+ is automatically included with eligible Vodafone Passport activations during the promotional period.

16. What does the customer need in order to use Call+?

Customers require:
  • An active eligible Vodafone Passport
  • Roaming status
  • Internet connectivity
  • My Vodafone App installed on a compatible smart device


17. How should customers dial numbers when using Call+?

Customers must dial numbers using the Qatar country code format (+974 or 00974) followed by the destination number.

18. What happens once I have used my Call+ minutes?

Standard roaming minutes charges may apply if a FUP of 250 and 1000 minutes is reached.

19. Is there any restrictions of Call+ calling?

Call+ does not support calls to emergency services. You should not rely on this service as a primary means of communication in emergencies.

Q: What is the Roam Like Home Key Add-on?

A: The Roam Like Home Pack (“RLHP”) is a new Add on from Vodafone Qatar that enables customers to transform their current Vodafone Postpaid Plan’s local units (voice calls, SMS), local data allowances, local Add-ons and the related out of bundle services and converts them to roaming benefits while roaming.

Q: What are the available options and pricing for the Roam Like Home Pack?
A: Customers have the flexibility to choose from two options for the Roam Like Home Pack:
  •  7 days Roam Like home Pack for QR 150
  • 30 days Roam Like home Pack for QR 500.
Q: How do I subscribe to the Roam Like Home Pack Add-on?

You can activate the Roam Like Home Add On through the My Vodafone App or by dialing the codes below or by contacting our dedicated customer service.

Q: If I activate the 7-day Roam Like Home addon in the middle of the day, does it expire at the exact hour on the sixth day?

The addon will end at midnight on the sixth day , regardless of the activation time during the first day of activation

Q: How long are the Roam Like Home Pack benefits valid after activation?

A: 7 days or 30 days based on your choice to activate.

Q: How does the Roam Like Home Pack work?

A: The Roam Like Home Pack converts local allowances in your current Postpaid Plan into roaming allowances. After using local allowances, customers will be charged standard roaming rates.

Q: What will happen if I have roaming benefits in my plan?

A: Once in-plan allowance is exhausted, the in-plan roaming allowance in eligible countries will automatically activate, so customers can continue using benefits while abroad.

Q: Are incoming calls free in the listed eligible countries?

A: Yes, incoming calls in the specified eligible countries are free for customers subscribed to the Roam Like Home Pack add-on.

Q: Will I be charged in other countries or for calls outside covered ones?

A: Yes, standard roaming rates will apply if customers roam in countries not included in the Roam Like Home Pack list or if customers make calls to destinations outside the specified countries.

Q: Can I use in-plan international minutes while roaming?

 A: Customers can make international calls except if the destination wasn't eligible for calls while in Qatar. For other countries not included standard international call rates will apply.

Q: Can I subscribe multiple times?

A: Yes, you can subscribe multiple times. However, if a customer subscribes, the new subscription will add either 7 days or 30 days from the new add-on activation date, based on the customer's selection.

Q: What local allowances are eligible to be used while roaming?

A: You can use his plan, add-on, and promotional allowances while roaming.

Q: Can I use Roam like home Pack add-on for my prepaid?

A: No Roam Like Home Pack Add-on only works on the above-mentioned Postpaid plans.

What to do before traveling?

  • Make sure that you have the roaming benefits that you need for your destination.
    • You can check the amount of your in-plan data roaming benefits (if any) through My Vodafone app or dial *100#
    • If you don’t have any roaming benefits in your plan, make sure you activate Passport Pack for great value and excellent experience (check the countries)
  • Ensure you have enough Bill Limit for your Passport Pack before traveling to enable Bill Manager and avoid any overcharges.

What should I do if my plan does not include roaming benefits?

  • We should activate the passport pack that works in 175+ countries. We recommend to activate the passport pack if:
    • You are a prepaid customer
    • You have other postpaid plan (Other than Unlimited & Red)
    • You have Unlimited plan and you wish to use voice calls or SMS
    • You have consumed all your in-plan roaming benefits

What are the types of the Passport Pack?

  • There are two types of passport packs:
    1- Passport Pack weekly in 175+ countries
    • 100 roaming minutes
    • 2-1 GB data
    • Unlimited Inflight Data
    QR 100 & is valid for 7 days.

    2- Passport Pack Monthly in 175+ countries (for postpaid only)
    • 300 roaming minutes
    • 4 GB data
    QR 320 & is valid for 30 days.

How to activate Passport Pack?

Activate through Vodafone App:
  • Select "Add-ons" on the bottom left of the homepage
  • Select "Roaming"
  • Select "Vodafone Passport Pack".
  • Click "Activate"

How to adjust my Bill Limit?

What to do when I arrive?

  • Make sure to switch “Data Roaming” ON in your cellular phone settings.
  • Check your balance frequently through My Vodafone App or dial *129#. You can always add as many passport pack as you need at anytime.

Why I’m not able to make/receive calls?

In order to use voice calls while roaming, you need an activate passport pack.

If you have not activated passport pack yet, click here to activate for prepaid and here for post-paid.

If you already have passport pack, please make sure that:
  • You have remaining minutes.
  • Your passport is active.

You can check passport pack remaining minutes and expiry date through My Vodafone App or dial *129#. You will also receive an SMS when your allowance is consumed or when the pack expires.

If you consume more than the total data/voice allowance of passport pack before the expiry, then the rate will be QR 1 per 1MB/Minute until the 7-day period expires and thereafter the standard roaming rates will apply. However, you can always activate another passport at any time.

Why I am not able to connect to any network?

  • Try restarting your device
  • Make sure your “Data Roaming” are switching on from your cellular settings
  • Choose network manually
  • Switch network mode between 3G/4G
  • If you have dual sims, make sure you are connected to Vodafone sim card.
