  • You can check the amount of your in-plan data roaming benefits (if any) through My Vodafone app or dial *100#
  • If you don’t have any roaming benefits in your plan, make sure you activate Passport Pack for great value and excellent experience (check the countries)
• Ensure you have enough Bill Limit for your Passport Pack before traveling to enable Bill Manager and avoid any overcharges.

• You roam in a non-passport country
• Your in-plan roaming data is consumed and/or your passport pack is consumed or expires. However, you can activate another passport pack at any time as long as you have Bill Limit of QR 100 or more.

• We should activate the passport pack that works in 175+ countries. We recommend to activate the passport pack if:
  • You are a prepaid customer
  • You have other postpaid plan (Other than Unlimited & Red)
  • You have Unlimited plan and you wish to use voice calls or SMS
  • You have consumed all your in-plan roaming benefits
  Make sure your have a bill limit of QR 105 or more to activate the Passport Pack. Your bill limit amount should covers the value for every passport pack activation. E.g. if you have a bill limit of QR 100, raise bill limit to QR 200 to add another weekly passport pack (which costs QR 100).

• There are two types of passport packs:
  1- Passport Pack weekly in 175+ countries
  • 100 roaming minutes
  • 2-1 GB data
  • Unlimited Inflight Data
  QR 100 & is valid for 7 days.
  
  2- Passport Pack Monthly in 175+ countries (for postpaid only)
  • 300 roaming minutes
  • 4 GB data
  QR 320 & is valid for 30 days.

Ensure your bill limit is set to the amount of the passport pack value to allow its activation. E.g. set bill limit of QR 100 or more to activate weekly Passport Pack (cost QR 100) or set bill limit of QR 320 to activate monthly passport pack.

• Select "Add-ons" on the bottom left of the homepage
• Select "Roaming"
• Select "Vodafone Passport Pack".
• Click "Activate"

For Unlimited plan (Unlimited 375, 450, or VIP), your in-plan Roaming Data will work in 175+ countries.

For Prepaid & other Postpaid plan (Other than Unlimited & Red), Passport Pack need to be activated.

If you have Passport Pack, you can use your roaming data in 175+ countries

Standard rates will apply when you roam in a non-passport country.

• Make sure to switch “Data Roaming” ON in your cellular phone settings.
• Check your balance frequently through My Vodafone App or dial *129#. You can always add as many passport pack as you need at anytime.
• Make sure your bill limit covers the value for every passport pack activation. E.g. if you have a bill limit of QR 100, raise bill limit to QR 200 to add another weekly passport pack (which costs QR 100).

In order to use voice calls while roaming, you need an activate passport pack.

If you have not activated passport pack yet, click here to activate for prepaid and here for post-paid. Please make sure to have a Bill Limit of QR 105 or more.

If you already have passport pack, please make sure that:

• You have remaining minutes.
• Your passport is active.

You can check passport pack remaining minutes and expiry date through My Vodafone App or dial *129#. You will also receive an SMS when your allowance is consumed or when the pack expires.

If you consume more than the total data/voice allowance of passport pack before the expiry, then the rate will be QR 1 per 1MB/Minute until the 7-day period expires and thereafter the standard roaming rates will apply. However, you can always activate another passport at any time. Make sure to have a Bill Limit of QR 100 or more.

• Try restarting your device
• Make sure your “Data Roaming” are switching on from your cellular settings
• Choose network manually
• Switch network mode between 3G/4G
• If you have dual sims, make sure you are connected to Vodafone sim card.

If you are still unable to connect to any network, contact customer care for support.

If you are a post-paid customer:

• Make sure that your number is active and not barred
• Make sure to have a Bill Limit of QR 100 or more when activating the weekly Vodafone passport pack
• Make sure to have a Bill Limit of QR 320 or more when activating the Monthly Vodafone passport pack

Please note that you can always activate another passport pack any time.

If you are a prepaid customer, make sure to have a balance of QR 100 or more at the time of activating Vodafone passport pack.
