Doha, Qatar, February 3 2026: Vodafone Qatar and the University of Doha for Science and Technology (UDST) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to establish a framework for cooperation across talent development, training, and innovation, strengthening collaboration between industry and academia in Qatar.
The MoU was signed by Abdulla Ali AlMisnad, Acting Chief Administrative Officer at Vodafone Qatar, and Dr. Rachid Benlamri, Vice President, Academics at UDST during Web Summit Qatar 2026, reflecting a shared commitment to supporting national human capital development and fostering practical, future-ready skills aligned with Qatar’s digital and economic priorities.
Through this collaboration, Vodafone Qatar and UDST will explore opportunities to support talent development, knowledge exchange, and innovation initiatives that strengthen workforce readiness and applied learning, with a focus on enhancing practical skills, industry exposure, and collaboration between academia and the private sector.
