VODAFONE INTRODUCES ‘U PLANS’ – NEW PLANS MADE BY YOU

Doha, 3 October 2020: Driven to innovate, Vodafone Qatar has launched U Plans- new first of their kind Postpaid plans offering a rich data allowance, local and international calling minutes plus the ability to change those allowances according to need every month.

For the first time in Qatar, new U Plan subscribers will be able to adjust their data and local minutes within the same plan, every month very simply through My Vodafone App. The new unique plans come with a host of additional features: customers can carry forward their unused data to the next month and control their bill with Spend Limit.

Vodafone Qatar Chief Operating Officer, Diego Camberos, explained: “Every customer is unique, more so when it comes to telecom services. We designed U Plans based on our belief in the insight that customers know best what they need. In short, U Plans let the customer decide how they want to use their Postpaid plans and maximise the value they can get with every penny spent. Because only they know what they need.”

Starting from QR 115 per month for U Start, customers can select from a range of data and local minute combinations for the base plan, such as ‘8 GB with 150 Local Minutes’ or ‘5 GB with 750 Local Minutes’. U Plus starts from QR 165 per month and customers can choose between ‘16GB and 400 Local Minutes’, ‘10 GB with 1300 Local Minutes’ or other combinations. U plans also give customer the choice of up to 300 international minutes to their country of choice: Philippines, Bangladesh, Pakistan, India and other countries.
