Doha, Qatar 25 February 2020: Vodafone Qatar has announced the completion of its GigaNet fibre network roll-out in Al-Sadd Street and the East side of Al Sadd, with homes and businesses in the dense mixed business and residential area already enjoying a range of Vodafone services. Work has also commenced on deploying Vodafone fibre in the South side of Al-Sadd, better known as the Al Nasr area.
This latest milestone will enable Vodafone GigaHome services in more than 1,200 homes located in multiple residential buildings. The latest in smart home Wi-Fi technology, Vodafone GigaHome covers homes of every size with uninterrupted Wi-Fi in every room using a state-of-the-art Giga Wi-Fi Hub powered by its GigaNet Fibre network.
In addition to high-speed internet, GigaTV gives Vodafone customers access to a full suite of endless entertainment that includes live TV channels, catch-up features and on-demand content such as movies from major studios, Vodafone exclusive TV series and kids content, as well as OSN premium channels. GigaTV customers will also be able to enjoy all of these features on the go through the GigaTV app.
Businesses will benefit from the wide range of services available with GigaNet Fibre, including access to Vodafone GigaBusiness plans for business, offering unlimited data with speeds up to 1Gbps, high-speed Corporate Internet, Security services and Fixed Voice solutions.
