Doha, Qatar, 30 May, 2023: In line with World No Tobacco Day, and Lung Cancer Awareness month,Vodafone Qatar has collaborated with Qatar Cancer Society, as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Programme, to raise awareness on the harms of smoking and lung cancer, through an event held at the Vodafone offices.
A team from Qatar Cancer Society were on hand to conduct various workshops, and sessions which focused on the signs and symptoms of lung cancer, ways to help quit smoking and the effects of tobacco and its dangers. Vodafone Qatar received a certificate of appreciation from Qatar Cancer Society’s Chairman, Dr. Khalid Bin Jabor Al-Thani, in appreciation of its effort and participation in the campaign.
