Which services are included on Vodafone Prepaid?
You can use your Prepaid Plan for all your communication needs such as local and international calling, SMS, MMS, roaming and Mobile Internet.
What is a Welcome Pack and where can I get it?
You will need to buy a Welcome Pack when you first join Vodafone. A Welcome Pack includes your Vodafone SIM card, a free mobile number, a quick user guide and Vodafone’s terms and conditions. It costs QR 20 and can be purchased from any Vodafone Store or online at www.vodafone.qa
What denominations are available on Prepaid?
A: You can buy and recharge with the following scratch cards: QR10, QR20, QR35, QR55, QR100, QR150, QR200, QR300, QR500

Where can I recharge with Vodafone Prepaid?
You can recharge using the following methods:
1. Use ‘online recharge’ found here, for any Recharge of QR20 and above.
2. Buy a scratch card and follow the instructions on the back of the card.
3. Dial 111 from your Vodafone mobile phone and follow the recorded instructions.
4. Visit selected QNB, Doha Bank & QIB ATM’s and follow the prompts.
5. Simply visit a Vodafone or partner store and have credit loaded directly onto your phone.
What is the included value with the loaded Prepaid plan?
Whenever you recharge your Prepaid credit you’ll receive included value additionally to your credit.

What does extending validity mean for included value?
Extending validity means that if you recharge with a new Prepaid scratch card before the end of the 10 day expiry period your existing included value extends for another 10 days.
For example if you recharge with QR35 on 1 July, your included value has an expiry date of 10 July. On 9th July you have QR10 of credit, 5 Vodafone minutes and 2MB’s balance on your account.
On the 9th July if you recharge with another QR35 scratch card. The expiry date of your new and old included value is now the 19th July.
How will I know that my Prepaid recharge has worked?
You will get an SMS from Vodafone to let you know the plan loaded successfully. The message will confirm the plan loaded. To check your new balance dial *129#
How will I know that I have received an amount on my phone?
A notification SMS from Vodafone will let you know the Prepaid plan load was a success. You can start calling again straight away.
How will I know if my balance is running low?
We’ll send you an SMS to let you know when your balance gets below QR 5.
Is there a limit to the call duration I can make?
Yes, 120 minutes is the maximum duration per call. After which, the call will be cut off and you will need to call the person back.
If I go overseas, will I be able to use my Vodafone number?

What happens if the Prepaid plan I buy is loaded onto the wrong phone number?
To help avoid this happening, please be sure to check that the phone number is correct in the confirmation message on the retailer’s phone before your purchase is finalised. This is very important and the best way to avoid a problem.
If the Prepaid plan is loaded on the wrong phone number, follow these steps: The retailer needs to contact the Dealer helpline and give them the details of the incorrect plan load. A customer champion will call the customer who received the Prepaid product by mistake and ask about the incorrect purchase.
Only if the other customer agrees to the transaction being reversed can the Customer Champion reverse the transaction and load the Prepaid plan onto your account. We will contact you to let you know if the reversal will be able to be processed.
What happens if a retailer loads the wrong Prepaid plan onto my phone?
To help avoid this happening, please be sure to check that the phone number is correct in the confirmation message on the retailer’s phone before your purchase is finalised. This is very important and the best way to avoid a problem. Unfortunately, our customer champions are not able to help with this kind of problem. You will need to agree with the retailer on fair payment.

What will happen to my existing free Vodafone minutes from 27 September?
These will remain on your account until you use them or they expire. Any free Vodafone minutes you have on your account on 27 September will not extend their validity on recharge in the normal way. Validity for these minutes remains static at 10 days from the date of recharge. All your new free International and Vodafone to Vodafone minutes and MBs will continue to have the normal extending validity feature.
When making a call to another Vodafone number in Qatar, the minutes will be consumed from your existing Vodafone minutes first as they will have the shorter expiry period and then from your new International and Vodafone to Vodafone minutes. If you also have a Smart Pack on your account, the order of priority will be
- Smart Packs
- (Existing) Vodafone minutes
- (New) International and Vodafone minutes
If I go overseas, will I be able to use my Vodafone Mobile Broadband Plan?
