Vodafone Qatar Legal Manager Nouf Al-Sulaiti Shortlisted As “Most Inspiring Woman” In The Middle East
29 March, 2009: Vodafone Qatar's Legal Manager Nouf Al-Sulaiti is one of three finalists voted "Most Inspiring Woman" in the Middle East.
The competition, hosted at www.spreadphiladelphia.com, honours women in the Middle East who have racked up great achievements in spite of cultural obstacles.
Despite being one of the youngest at age 26, Nouf clearly made an impression. Having joined Vodafone Qatar in January 2009 when Vodafone was still in the start-up phase, she served as the backbone of legal support when the organisation needed her most, securing almost 500 agreements within the span of a year - and that's just a small part of the wonderful contributions she's made to Vodafone, to her country, and to the future of women in the Middle East.
With a law degree from Cardiff University in the UK, Nouf's wish is to revolutionize the legal profession by changing the way people perceive the people associated with the job.
Commenting on her achievement, Nouf said, "I want to use my position and the attention I'm generating at the moment to encourage younger females to follow in my footsteps - be bold and outspoken, take leaps of faith, work hard and use your influence to make a difference where you can. Staying true to Vodafone Qatar's purpose, I am now using MY LIFE to make a world of difference for all the people in Qatar."
Voting closes on 15 April 2010 and results will be announced at the Philadelphia Gala Dinner on the 21st of April .
