VODAFONE Announces A New 1001 Winners Competition as part of World Calling Ccub

31 August, 2010: Vodafone's customers loved the competitions that Vodafone has run so Vodafone is announcing a new one, and this one is here to stay till the end of 2010.  The competition is part of  Vodafone's World Calling Club, and each week there will be 1001 lucky winners.

The compeition is drawn weekly, and 1000 customers will win 20QR of credit to spend on any Vodafone service they like, and one customer wins 10,000 QR in cash.

The competition will run from 01 September through till 31 December and is open for ALL Vodafone customers

For a chance to win all that new and existing customers need to do is get talking to their family and friends because every minute of every international call automatically puts them in the draw to win, so the more they talk the more chances they have to win! For example, a 15minute call is equal to 15 entries. Its that easy!

World Calling Club's QR10,000 daily draw competition came to a close yesterday with 90 winners in total. This means Vodafone gave out a total of QR 900,000 in daily grand prizes in addition to QR 155,740 in free credit giveaways.

The QR10,000 grand prize winners' lives have been changed- enabling entrepreneurs to expand their businesses, supporting families to put their children through school and helping struggling labourers support their families back home.

"It's been really inspiring and humbling for us to see how our customers have been able to change their lives with these prizes.  It is all part of Vodafone's purpose to make a ‘world of difference for all people in Qatar' and we look forward to touching the lives of many more people with World Calling Club's new competition," said Firoze Bhorat, Head of Marketing Communications, Vodafone Qatar.
