The Fifth Week of Vodafone’s World Calling Club Competition Sees More Winners
11 July, 2010: Now in its fifth week, Vodafone's World Calling Club competition has seen 39 people given QR 10,00 each which has made a world of difference to their lives.
The winners of week five were named as:
- Mohamed Abu Leila from Egypt
- Sataunamani Stelin from Sri Lanka
- Antonio Alonzo from the Philippines
- Mohmad Shaho from Pakistan
- Madhu Magar from Nepal
- Mohamed Asmi Rafideen from Sri Lanka
- Satheesh Kumaran from India
The winners were handed their cheques by Vodafone Qatar's Head of Products, Jason Monteiro who said, "This is truly a great day and a blessing to be able to share in the joy and happiness of our winners. I am proud and honoured to know that Vodafone has made a world of difference in all the 7 winners' lives and in the many other past winners' lives."Mr. Ftelin, a construction worker, who has been living in Qatar for only 3 months and has been a Vodafone customer since his arrival to Qatar, said the money will make a huge difference to his family's life in Sri Lanka. Mr. Magar said the money will go towards his children's education in Nepal and a delighted Mr. Kumaran will go towards constructing his house in India.
There are only 19 days left for the chance to win QR10,000 every day with Vodafone's World Calling Club. All that existing and new Vodafone customers have to do is make an international call and get talking to their family and friends because every minute of every international call automatically puts them in the daily draw to win.
