Register to be one of “The 1st 1000” Vodafone customers
Doha, 15 February, 2009: From today, Vodafone Qatar is receiving registrations from people interested in participating in Vodafone's "1st 1000" customers promotion, which will run during March and finish May 15.
The "1st 1000" customers will give feedback and advice on our developments by posting on Vodafone's "The 1st 1000" customers blog, call centre, and through surveys that will be emailed to the customers. This will be used to help improve and develop network coverage and services for the benefit of all future customers of Vodafone.
To participate, customers have until the 22nd of February to register at Vodafone's website www.vodafone.com.qa. A valid credit card is required for registration and payment by the chosen "1st 1000".
Vodafone is doing something really new in the market by offering customers true value for money. With the "1st 1000" promotion you only pay QR 70 and you get a value bundle worth QR 700. All calls and SMS you make get deducted from your QR 700 value bundle,
That means for just QR 70 you could talk for 1273 minutes or you could send 1750 SMS messages or any mixture of these any way you like up to QR 700's worth.
Those that will be selected to take part in the offer will be contacted in March. Out of all registrations, "The 1st 1000" will be selected to represent geography, nationality, age, and gender of a wide sample of people in Qatar.
Vodafone will pro-actively communicate with "the 1st 1000" during the promotion. For the first time ever, a communications company will share everything they do in the design and building phase of their network and services. Vodafone will give "The 1st 1000" frequent updates about new cell sites, new products, new services and improvements made as a result of their feedback.
