In fact, if she had to take a wild guess, she'd say that she's had a hand in the employment of over 5000 people! It's no surprise that Jan's own credentials are very impressive. After university, John joined Vodafone Egypt, where he worked in several roles within Marketing before heading off to the Maldives as a marketing consultant for the launch of the second operator there, Wataniya. Serving in different numbers-oriented roles in Finance and Marketing, he wound up at Vodafone India for four years before joining Vodafone Qatar in October 2011 as Chief Financial Officer (or Chief SIM Counter*).
